What can I give? [Romans 12:1]

Rom 12:1 Therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, I urge you to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God; this is your spiritual worship.

When I was getting dressed this morning, I heard a song that talked about presenting offerings to God. What was interesting about the song is the fact that nothing we can give to God is a worthy sacrifice. There is nothing that I can give that will compare to the sacrifice that He gave for me. So, as my morning progressed, I was thinking what would be an acceptable sacrifice to God? What is the ultimate sacrifice that I can give to Jesus for Him giving His life for me? God immediately helped me recall this verse. Presenting my body as a living sacrifice to God because this is pleasing to Him. The greatest offering I can give God is me. My time, my talents, my thoughts, my actions; anything about me I need to give to God. Jesus came to earth and sacrificed His life so, that mine could be saved. The least I can do is give my life to Him.
